Titling:
The main title onscreen is written in white which represents that its horror because the colour white represents ghosts. The white title sequence however changes from white to red. Red symbolizes danger and blood.

Camera Movement;

Tracking shot is also included when she’s communicating with the evil character which symbolizes that bad situation is about to occur.

Framing Shot:

Medium shot was used when the main character picks up the phone, which suggests that she’s confident, and in a good mood.

Camera Angle:
High angle-shot has also been included when the main character was looking at her tied up boyfriend which highlights that he’s powerless and demoralized.

Mise-en scene:

The location in this scene is in a nice big house however the outside is dark situated in the Forrest which highlights it could be a danger atmosphere.

Reaction shot has been included in the opening scene when the character reacts when she sees the evil character which shows us that the camera us to something that happens than cuts to see that persons reaction which is the opposite.

The story is set in motion with the brutal murders of high school students Casey Becker and her boyfriend Steve, classmates of Sidney Prescott. The timing of the tragedy is hard on Sidney, who is attempting to cope with the anniversary of her mother's rape and murder. The following night she is contacted by the same person who killed Casey and Steve, a mysterious man dressed in a ghostly costume named Ghost face. The genre of this film is a horror movie this was because the titling was white changed into red which represents danger.
